Do I need any special drivers for my dual core?

Hey guys, sorry if this is an ultra noob question, but do I need any special drivers etc so my dual core runs properly? All I installed was the AMD dual core driver from their website (the really old one from may). I have all the latest windows updates. Do I need something else so my dual cores are being used effectively?

You should be fine with just the driver in Windows. Is your BIOS up to date and does it recognize the dual core CPU on boot up?

Yes I have the latest beta bios for the Asus SLI Premium 1011 and it shows the dual core.

i think their forums went down earlier as I couldn?t access their forums either, its working now. It's quite a thorough guide i recommend it.
