Do i need an ide dvd to install windows ultimate?

Hi to you all,

all my components are on its way and now I can play :)
Considering the installation, do i need an ide or floppy drive to install hassle free the windows vista ultimate since i own sata dvdr and harddisks?

Whatever your system can read on boot is AOK. SATA - PATA - makes no difference as long as it is in the boot chain.

I have had no problem installing it off of my sata dvd drive. But it does depend on the drive and your motherboard as some boards have issues booting off of certain sata dvd drives, (if you have successfully booted fo the drive before then the vista install should work fine).
