I am going to be traveling to Prince Edward Island this summer. Do any of you know if I will need a passport when I cross over from Maine into New Brunswick, Canada? Or, will I just need a birth certificate or copy?

If you're an American citizen, your birth certificate or a valid copy should be enough. If you're a permanent resident of the US but not a citizen, you'll also need to show your "green card". US residents don't need visas. You could check with a local Canadian consulate just to be sure.
