I bought a couple of Patriot 8GiB(2x4GiB) sets of memory rated at 1600MHz. I was planning on pairing my memory up with a new Sandy Bridge CPU. I wanted to buy an H67 motherboard and I noticed that none of these motherboards showed support for 1600 MHz memory speeds. Am I gonna be forced to purchase a motherboard with P67 chipset to realize full potential of my 1600MHz memory? Im not an overclocker by any means and I didn't think that 1600MHz was overclocked memory but from what I am seeing right now, maybe it is. Is running memory at 1600MHz running it overclocked? Patriot listed it as a 1600MHz memory set so Im confused.
