Do I need a new video card for my widescreen display?

So here's the deal, I just was fortunate to purchase a ViewSonic N2750w display. However, when I go to use it, everything looks distorted in the wide dimension. I have an nVidia MX440 video card and just downloaded the latest drivers from the website, however I still do not see support for any widescreen resolutions.

Can I get some native widescreen resolutions for this video card, or do I need to upgrade my video card in order to make everything really nicely displayed, in a clear and non-distorted resolution.

Thank you very much in advance for helping me with this problem.

You need to select a wide aspect ration resolution (1280 x 720 for instance). Your card should support his if you install an updated driver. Go to NVidia's web site and download the latest video driver.
