Do I need a landline?

My cellphone works great. I already have broadband internet. Any reasons why I still should get a landline?

i haven't had a landline in 3 years, and everything is OK with me. I do have a work number which is a landline but I only use it for work.

EDIT: it only gets to be a pain if your cell breaks. I had an issue with mine for a couple of days and I could only call the provider while at work. Total PITA.

No. I would only get one if I had kids and needed reliable 911 service.

I haven't had a landline for a few years and it hasn't been a problem at all.
