Do I have to make an appointment if...?

I just want to replace my iPod Touch 5G(broken glass) by paying the $180 fee? Can I just walk in to the store & do it right away?

I think you don't have to make an appointment. But you have to accept the chance that you'll be waiting for a long time.

Pretty much this. If you walk in, you are essentially given the "next free appointment slot", which could be hours away. So, you can wait and hope the other people either don't take long or no show, or spend an entire 30 seconds making an appointment and knowing when you will be helped.

The Watch won't be released in stores. I mean, that probably won't stop most idiots from going into the store and trying to buy one, but it won't have lines of campers.
