Using this comp for web surfing,ICQ,listen to musics,watch some DVDs,play starcraft & do some visual basic programming.

The system is fine, but buying a modern hard drive is going to make a HUGE difference to your performance.

Operating system load times will be halved, game loads will be much faster, swap file hits will reduce the lag on the system.
