No worries OP...

Your course is simple. Attend a good junior or city college for 2-3 years, get a 3.0+ GPA, and then trasfer to a decent university to finish your BA/BS.

Tons of people go this route....one my friends in HS had a 2.6 GPA in HS, attended a JC for 3 years, worked hard and got a 3.8, and then got into UCLA.

I took some classes, but college was boring, I was so sick of school. Then I traveled the world, acquired several languages and developed an interest in college. I then went to college and viewed it as a challenge, my cumulative GPA is near 4.00.

Maybe, take some time off of school, but don't stop learning, travel Canada and the USA, go to other parts of the world. Travel can be cheap and cheap travel is more educational.

How'd you do that with no money?
You were not specific; however, I believe you meant travel, not school.
I've hitchiked from San Francisco to Alaska, from Alaska to Toronto for only the costs of food. I've cruised Alaska's Inside Passage while sleeping on the decks of ferries for about $120.00 US. I've taken the ferry from Cabo San Lucas Mexico to Puerta Vallarta, Mexico for $.65 US for a reserved sleeping seat. I've traveled overland from California to Guatemala by bus, boat, train and hitchiking for less than $35.00 US. I've traveled Asia overland staying in hotels from $1.60 to $6.00 US a night. I carry a backpack, tent and stove and have lived out of it for six months at a time. Youth hostels are great and great to meet people. I've hitchiked through Massachusetts where I've met hitchikers going to different baseball games. The dedication of east coast baseball fans is amazing. I've witnessed the Massachusetts State Police set up sophisticated speedtraps the like of which I've never witnessed anywhere else in the world. I've visited Georgetown and Harvard while sleeping in youth hostels. You can travel on the cheap. You just want to have to do it. Overland travel is exhausting, but you learn more.
