My hdd light flashes every second none stop. And when I check my network connection, I seem to be sending something. The packets sent goes up by one every second. I tried disconnecting the network cable but the hdd light still flashes. I ran norton anti-virus and ad-aware and both didn't stop it. What is causing this? How do I stop it?
Thanks for any help.

Spray your PC with Lysol. Make sure all surfaces are wet. Any virus that was living there will be dead.

Or, you could just install some antivirus software. There's a few freeware ones out there...
