I think that definitely is great. I have the same Crucial 10th Anniversary versions and I'm hoping the investment in that memory was well worth it!

However, I'm still unsure whether getting expensive ram for th e6600 is the best route to go because the Crucial 10th Anniversary can very well pump out ddr2 500mhz on an e6400 overclocked...which is why everyone fell in love with the Crucial 10th ram.

However, I doubt you can push the FSB on the e6600 above a 9x400 for an overclock of >3.6ghz -_-, unless you up the vcore to roughly 1.55 or greater, which I am not very comfortable doing since I'm on a decent budget Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro.

Hope, someone more knowledgeable about the e6600 can help you out.

Edit: Currently, I just ordered an e6600 and getting a Week 31 cpu. I have recently read that the newer cpu's can overclock very far with very little uppage in vcore.

By the way, what is your vcore at 3.2ghz?

Im @ 3.0GHz atm @ stock volts seems to be stable. I can get through 3DMark06 and play numerous games without any problems!

My eTailors been out of stock of the E6600s for a few weeks and they only received a fresh batch a few days ago. Maybe ive got one of those new steppings you mentioned!

Im gonna push it further and see how far I can go. Ive got a feeling ill max out at 3.4ghz. 3.6ghz is my target.

Newer cores look like they overclock a bit better. Week 32 is the last stepping B2 Conroe. There is stepping B3 then. The new cores do however seem to run a bit hotter.
