Do I actually get anything by installing via 4 in 1 drivers on this system?

I've got an ASUS KT-400 board. I've recently reformatted and reinstalled XP SP2. I've been using it for a while now, and have not really noticed anything slow about it. I just realized the other day that I never reinstalled the via drivers. Are they good for anything?

WinXP SP2 has VIA 4 in one drivers built in,however newest version will only update the inf file,you won't see any real benefits gains on your KT400 board.

Usually it's a good idea to install drivers that come with a motherboard. Microsoft often times includes out of date drivers because they are the only ones that are "XP certificate signed". Also, the manufacturer drivers cd sometimes includes extra software.

Or check with motherboard manufacturer website to check for latest via 4 in 1 drivers.
