Do hotels block the ports for AOL IM?

I'm living in a hotel for the summer and I cant sign onto AOL. I can sign on to MSN instant messenger and surf the web, but I cant connect to AOL. Are the ports likely blocked?

Are you using WLAN? Marriots around here use Golden Tree and are not very secure. That is about all I will say...
