my parent left me home alone tonight, so im on my own to fend for myself and find some dinner. I wanted to make a hotdog, however the ones in the fridge have been there for a while.. (a long time)

do hot dogs ever go bad? i figured they're juiced up with enough preservatives to last forever.. but its still a meat product so it has to go bad eventually....

with the amount of preservates that are put in those suckers, you'll probably be dead before they expire 😉
 
Eeeeew! I don't think hot dog should be a regular staple. Why eat them If you're not at a BBQ party?

Are they Hebrew International brand?
 
Sounds like a new FOX program, "When hotdogs go bad!". I wouldn't eat them if they have a white greasy like coating on them. Then just throw them away and eat some cereal.

i think i saw an expiration date on a package of dogs once. they need to be eaten after opened before they dry out though. dried out dog would not be good.


actually whats good is natural casing (read: intestine) dogs from a small meat-market.
 
I don't think hot dogs go bad -- they are bad right from the start. Technically speaking, I think you have to say "they went worse". 🙂

Just smell 'em. If they smell bad then don't eat them. If they're past the sell by date (and they're not frozen) I don't think I'd take the chance. If they're frozen then it's not bad at all. Hotdogs have a very high water content.
 
OMG, I just looked at the entire stinkymeat adventure and I dont think I can have supper now. BLEH!!

I hope no one like that lives near me 🙂
