Maetryx here,
According to Calvinistic doctrine, the elect are saved and the rest are reprobate. If an elect individual is a homosexual, they will not go to hell. Nevertheless, homosexuality is condemned in both the New and the Old Testament. But so is lying, extra-marital sex, pride, gossip and so on. In the end, no one deserves to go to heaven. If God scrapped the universe, it would be just and fair. But God's love for his creatures allowed him to provide salvation and to provide it without consideration of the individual's merits.
Salvation is God's affirmative action. We cannot earn it or deserve it.
