Do homeschoolers ever get a crush on their teachers?

I consider this another missed opportunity compared to public schooling. I remember a particular social studies teacher back in high school that really educated me about the Washington Monument.

Any homeschoolers wanna rebuke this fact?

Arn't most homeschool teachers the parents?
I hope you arn't serious about missing this "opportunity". Your father might not like that.

Lots of defensive reactions to a simple question: are homeschoolers ever "hot for teacher" ?

I think the reactions are less defensive and more offensive in response to a pooly thought out question fueled by pot.

Pot would have formulated a better question.

one of the high schools in my old education district in Minnesota, there was this case, where I think a teacher was having an affair with an 8th grader.

when she was interrogated with the simple question, "why?"

she responded in summary, "well he was so mature..."

I think there were a few more, but I guess I was too busy my high school career to remember any of that garbage.

now home schooling... oh dude, we are talking about 1on1... with parents not being there all the time.

note: "with parents not being there all the time"

footnote: "oh dude, we are talking about 1on1..."

1+1=2

The reality of home schooling these days is that there are a lot of home-school groups out there. You can join the group for trips, sports, etc or just hanging out. Also, a lot of homeschoolers do things like go visit a mathemetician when studying math, a scientist when studying science, a writer or bookseller, etc.

The picture of kids sitting at home with mom for the whole time is not very common.

Agreed, and the OP seems a bit defensive by the answers, he's hot for his mom. :p ¬¬
