Do Hercules, ATI and Sapphire use the same fan on there 9800 Pro cards?

Hi,

I was wondering if the 9800 Pro cards of Hercules, ATI and Sapphire make the same noise, like do they all use the exact same fan or does Hercules use a more silent one because they have those heatsinks on there cards that perhaps allows them to use a more silent fan?!

i am pretty sure the hercules model has a different fan on it. i bought one for a friend.

pic of the prophet

it deffinatley looks cooler, and also cools better than the ati model. the all copper heatsink, and the copper plate on the back really help, also it has ram-sinks. but the trade off is it is more expenisve than the others. also, the fan on it has blue LED's on it.

Hercules also usually has a much much better selection of software when compared to ATI/sapphire.

What's the size of the fan on the Hercules 9800 (Pro) card. Is it an 80mm fan or smaller?!

Hercules products are always top of the class. With the expected price of course.
I myself find my Gigabyte 9800pro 128 a very attractive solution too, with a very respectable cooling system

i think it is, but im pretty sure it pushes more air than the ati fan
That's strange: if the Hercules pushes more air then the ati fan, then it will make more noise. Since Hercules has heatsinks which ATI cards don't have (correct me if I am wrong about that), you would think Hercules could make there fan spin at a lower rpm then the ati one if there are the same size. So what about that?

a fan that pushes more air doesnt always mean its louder.
