Do have an emotional connection to Bush Jr?

No, you're wrong. The only SANE way to effectively change the administration is by election. Do you know what kind of chaos this country would go into if 90% of the administration died? Stock market collapses. Civil liberties would be revoked. The very existence of our government itself would be uncertain.
I won't even begin to get into it. The electon process, though a perfect ideal, at this point is very flawed in America.

All of the american ideals have been undermine by corporations. At one time, corporations were looked on with great scrutiny, and predjudice. Laws were made to greatly limit their power and influence.
Since then the laws have been eroded, liability of corporations diminished nearly to nothing. They gained ability to donate to campaign and political funds, and much of the taxation on corporations has been written out of law.

The leaders of our nation are the heads of the largest corporations in the world, amazing how that works.
Bush, and his administration continue this tradition of corporate control, and will for as long as possible.

The so-called "democracy" we live in has long since went the way of the dinosaur. Until you take of your corporate america provided blinders, your words are merely a blather of media and "culture" ideals stuffed in a sub-human shell.

Think for yourself.

I didn't actually cry when JFK was killed, but I was kinda in shock.
I still remember standing outside of work when I heard the news report.

I'm not really sure what my reaction would be to GWB's death, but, for better or worse, he is our President.

I would be very upset. Because this man has done an excellent job under the toughest conditions imaginable. Think about what his presidency has had to endure. He inherited a failing economy which he is (unfairly) blamed for, 9-11 and the war on terrorism, all the while being criticised by short sighted liberal losers.

He has performed admirably and he will be getting my vote next year even though I did not vote for him the first time.

If he were assassinated I would be very sad and angry.

inherited a failing economy? if this is even true, he sure as fvck hasnt done anything to try to turn it around...

People who blame the economy on the president clearly do not understand economics. He's only a scapegoat.

The economy has fluctated in cycles for hundreds of years. Nobody has ever succeeded in changing that.
