do flies ever get tired?

got a couple of flies buzzing around in here, been trying to swat them for an hour. but they never land and its damn hard to swat them in mid flight. i am getting pissed.
 
Nope. When they fly in a square pattern in the middle of the room they are merely in a state of Recharging their Energy.
 
I think flies can sense when you're ready to absolutely ballistic, and they leave you alone for a few minutes until you cool down a bit. I've been ready to pull a flamethrower, take out the flies, and the house with it if need be. That's when they leave for awhile, so you don't take drastic action against them :^D
