Do fat and/or ugly people physically attract to their own kind?

I am just wondering? Why do fat/ugly people like each other? Hell I am by no mean extremely good looking, but I don't find any physical attraction from fat people. However I often see fat couples outside. Do they just lower their expectation of their SO's physical appearance? If that's the case, isn't the relationship not healthy? People can say it's inner-beauty that matters, but I really doubt that. There has to be a mixture of both physical and inner beauty.

1) If you are fat, being around thin people makes you look MUCH fatter. Being around a fatter person, makes you look thin. So, do fat people want to look fat or look thin? I think the answer is obvious here.

2) If you are unattractive, you most likely aren't going to get models to date you. So, you have to lower your expectations a bit.

So they have a decision. (A) Be lonely and look fat, or (B) be happy and look average. What would a fatty choose?

Could be either one. It could be both. You can truely love someone who isn't a model.

Do you care to provide scientific proof that anything I typed is in fact wrong? True, what I typed isn't complete (for example, some people are attracted to fat), but it isn't wrong either. I just kept it short and concise for this thread.

Queers like men, so they are physically attract to them, that I understand. This thread is trying to help us understand how other fatties get attracted to other fatties. If you dont like being fat, you can do something about it. Most gay people would argue that they are born that way.

I dont think they're necessarily attracted "to their own kind." I think it has more to do with their lack of options on both sides which will inevitably bring them together.

Why would you care? You imply that liking somebody that is fat is somewhat against human nature. That it is wrong.

Although some people consider looks to be top priority when it comes to attraction, some people find a good personality more appealing.
And unlike most unappealing physical characteristics (3 eyes, no ears, huge puffy nipples, triangular skull), fat can be lost over a generally short period of time.
And ugly is subjective. For instance, I think latino guys are hot. I love dark skin, eyes, and hair.
But most of my brethren disagree, and only find themselves attracted to other white people.
There are some universally ugly people, but they are very few and far between.

It comes down to not being able to get the more attractive thin fit person. I'm sure most any fat person would love to get the hot model. But it's just not going to happen. Like all of us though they kind of just find who's in their same relative "league" if you will.

That and also they probably live the same kind of lifestyle. And when they get together or eat meals they eat the same.
