I was just thinking about this - a few years ago, when I was young and stupid and in college, I got fired from a job because of something I posted in a private myspace blog. No coworkers had access to my myspace gage and my profile was also private.. I also wrote the blog at home.
I'm now hearing more and more stories about people getting reprimanded for myspace/facebook activity, some on accounts that are private (and the posting being done at home, i.e. people playing hooky and posting pictures from their day at the ball park)..
Do employers have a way of breaking past privacy settings?
