Do CNN videos play without Adobe Flash Player yet?

Yes, on iOS they do, and presumably on Android they would too. (I can't test right now since my Nexus 7 is not with me.)

I'll have to try on my laptop when I get home. When I re-installed 10.10 Yosemite on MacBook Pro, I never bothered re-installing Flash. Haven't missed it so far, but then again I don't often watch CNN.com videos.

I tried a couple videos and they play fine on my Mac without Flash.

That is a great point and question! CNN videos are all over Youtube so no need for CNN videos!

I mean, CNN has as much journalistic integrity as a Fox News pundit. At least Faux News lies to fuel their propaganda machine. CNN just seems to do it for sport, and it is amazing they still have an audience of people who take them seriously.

There are browser plugins you can get that change your user agent to a mobile one. Good for those sites that still insist on forcing Flash for the desktop version.

It's nice to start seeing sites that stop using flash. Maybe at some point it will actually be a viable option to uninstall that garbage.

I kind of like when I hear there's another exploit, the more flash can be seen as a security nightmare the more developers might actually consider stopping to force their users to rely on it.
