Do cellphone signal boosters work?

Nooo way man. I bought one of these things and they are so cool! Its like a 10 foot antenna added to my phone! It was my best investment ever!

Cell phones continually change their power output levels, if your call is dropped your cell phone should have already ramped up its output to the maximum possible before the signal faded away. I think that would be an unnecessary mod.

He's right - on some Nokias there are "secret" menus that let you change various settings - one improves reception dramatically but your battery wears out fast. *6001#12345# is the code for 5000/6000 series phones iirc


Any websites that list how to up the power on other models... LIKE Kyocera 2345 :)

Search for revigator on google. After you learn what that is, (hopefully) you'll understand that fifty years from now people will (hopefully) know the same about these so called signal boosters of today :|
