Do cable extensions exist?

I'm a little suprised after I tried to install a Fortron Blue Storm II 500 watt in a Silverstone LC20. The connector that goes to supply the CPU was not long enough to reach it. So, I ended up putting it inside my Coolermaster Centurion 5 case. I discovered my Fortron is not as silent as my Seasonic S-12 because the fan rattles. My silent computer is no longer silent (like I wanted it anyway). On top of that, I had to use a molex extender included with a Coolermaster 80mm fan to reach the connector for the video card power.

In any case, does anyone know if you can buy an extension so I could plug in the power for the CPU? I'd rather have my Forton in my other computer.

Because cheaper is better. Especially when you're just buying bits of metal and plastic. 🙂

Their SATA cables are cheap too. (Yes, I bought mine there. SATAs and the ATX extension too)

Yeah, it's the 4-pin one I was looking for. Gee, thanks for the links. That's very interesting. I didn't know there are all kinds. I suppose if someone bought the wrong power supply, they might have a solution right there. Cool. 🙂

You went from a Seasonic S12 to a FSP Blue Storm 2? Why!

Sorry to be ther bearer of bad news but that was a down grade not an upgrade. If you had the 430W S12 it offers 29A on the combined +12v rails where the Blue Storm only has about 22A to 24A on the combined +12v rails. What made you decide to go with the FSP unit?

Uh, because 500 is a bigger number than 430?

I don't know exactly which S12 the OP had... perhaps he had a 330W version and just upgraded to an 8800GTX?
