Do blind people see things when they dream?

if you are born blind, no you don't see things when you dream. otherwise you do.

on that note how do you know that a color, red for example, is the same for you and me?
i may know "red" as what you "see" as orange, but having never "seen" through my eyes we both call it red because that color was called that to us both. yet couldn't we both percieve it as a different color?

I used to think about this, too. But I saw a segment on some morning show which was showing how doctors test for colorblindness. They use cards with many colored dots, and in the dots there is something you read. Only a certain color combination will allow you to easily see the image/letters.
