Do AP test scores automatically go on the transcript?

But you can usually opt to accept it for credit/grade or not accept at all.

Be more worried about F's on your transcript than anything else. I was stupid and got like 15 of them.

It depends from school to school. At my hs, we have to write down the college code on our ap tests in our senior year and collegeboard sends EVERY (unless you cancelled) ap test score to that college.

i never filled out the send to college bubbles so not on mine, i failed em all so that was good for me 🙂

Ah, so if I don't fill out any, no one will see the score? 😛

what AP tests are you worried about? AP physics requires a 5 at purdue to be able to replace a class, and a 4 in calc. i pulled a 4 in physics man was i pissed.

computer science AB 😛

I should just taken the A test or none at all

see, issue is that the teacher left right before spring break so we didn't get through a TON of material 😕

think they'll care? anyway I can inform them? had i known he wouldn't be able to teach us the rest, I wouldn't have signed up

they do not take AP tests into effect when looking at your transcript i dont believe.

they actually have to be sent in manually in order to have them even offered as school credit, so i doubt they are actually on the transcript.

No, they don't care.

Grade Withholding

You may have one or more grades withheld from the report sent to the college you indicated on your answer sheet. To have a grade withheld from the indicated college, AP Services must receive your written, signed request by June 15 accompanied by a $10 fee per grade, per college. If your request is not received by June 15, the grade is automatically sent to the college indicated on your answer sheet.

The grade will be withheld from any future grade reports sent to that particular college. You may later release the grade to that college by sending AP Services a signed written request.

If you later decide to send an AP Grade Report to a different college, however, you need to contact AP Services to have the grade withheld from that grade report.

A request to withhold a grade does not permanently delete your grade, and all exam grades, even those withheld from grade reports sent to colleges, are sent to you and your school.

Grade Cancellation

Grade cancellation deletes an AP Exam grade permanently from your records. Grades may be canceled at any time. However, for grades not to appear on the current year's grade report, AP services must receive a signed letter requesting cancellation by June 15. While there is no fee for this service, your exam fee is not refunded. The grade report that you and your school receive will indicate that the grade has been canceled.

yep, if u pass then just pay the 15$ xtra to send to college, imo its the best way

they got rid of score choice a couple of years ago, i think. Since then, every AP test one takes is automatically sent to colleges.
we longer get to choose if the test is reported or not.

My teacher in HS told me to take the AB test, which was the wrong choice.

I got a 1 on it, but Cal Poly Pomona didn't seem to care one way or the other, and they did get the score (this was 4 years ago). I didn't get any college units for the class, but oh well. What a waste of a damn test.

no. they won't send them anywhere unless you tell them to, either when you take the test or afterwards by special request (and $). but they send all of them when they send them.
