Two optical trackballs, a Kensington and a M.Trackball Explorer. Use them for gaming and find the objections (especially without explaination) rather amusing.

I've been using Logitech marble with scroll (and without scroll before) for a while now. I use it for gaming (CS, BF1942, etc) and everything. I can't stand the MS version though.

Is it that you have just used a mouse too long and can't get used to the change, or how so? I've used trackballs for years and years, and I actually think a mouse sucks for gaming. I think it's all what you get used to that determines if it "sucks for gaming."

My wrists love me, too...

It's much easier to move my wrist around than to try and bend my thumb around to move the ball. The *only* trackball I can stand is the Marble FX from Logitech.

People that say they suck for gaming just never gave them a chance. When I first got a trackball it took some getting used to (obviously) but since then I will never own a mouse. I have a Microsoft optical one now w/ the forward and back buttons for Internet surfing, it's tits. Lot better than moving a mouse around a mouse pad, all it takes is a little movement of the thumb.

I have the same mouse, and I love it! I used to run a CNC for 10 years, so I just got used to the track ball, now when I go to my brothers house and game I have to take my mouse w/ me because I can not get used to a standard mouse.

True dat. A good Trackball is superior to any mouse, even for gaming. All you Meesers are losing out! ;)

I use a Microsoft Optical Trackball at work and a Microsoft Optical Mouse at home.
