<< maybe i'm weird but i like all the seasons equally, i take joy in miserable weather (there's something nice about walking in the dark, cold and soaking wet)... honest, no sarcasm intended. >>

That's inspiring!

Yea...it gets too damn cold here. They'll be a few nights each year where we'll see the single digits...and sometimes days will go by without the temperature ever rising above freezing. The trouble with moving south, however, is that I hate the heat and humidity. A year-round mild climate like SF is ideal, IMO.

Yea, I think the weather here (Berkeley) is ideal. Even better than SF, which is foggier, cooler on the average. Very few really hot days here and the humidity is virtually never all that annoying. Never. Some gray days, esp. in the summer. I liked Maui too. I'm not sure if it was the weather or the people. Lived their a few years.

Fall is alright, but winter up here sucks. I live in a city that got 192" of snow last winter (16 feet) and it's always so gray out...it gets rather depressing. :( BTW, I am in the US. :p The city I live in gets the most snow in the US apparently.

BTW, my school closes on when one or both of the following occurs:
1.) -25` w/ wind chill - if it is -20` we go to school
2.) About 1.5' - 2' + of snow has fallen after about 3AM so the plow service hasn't had a chance to clear the roads and whatnot

I'm actually looking forward to winter now. I've had enough summer...

I live in Minnesota, the land of all four seasons. I personally enjoy Fall and Winter best. I don't think I could stand to live anywhere where it didn't snow. As far as the other seasons go, Spring is ok, but Summer is just too hot for me....

That's the downside for me of living in MI. I really don't like winter, albeit I like snow the first couple times a year that it happens, but after that it just gets to be a nuisance. The spring, summer, and fall months here are so beautiful I think it's worth suffering through a couple months.

Fall and winter are my favorites.

I'm not terribly fond of raking leaves or shoveling snow, but still prefer cooler weather :)

I like 4 seasons. Without snow in the winter, I'd never get to go sledding. :D

I don't get it either, I love winter. Crisp, clear air without all that summer haze. Some of the most fun I have ever had was last year when I took part in the local Christmas Bird Count in 2 ft of snow and temps around 15 degrees. Of course, you do need a good set of longjons to do that kind of thing. To whoever mentioned winter driving, right on. I love taking my car to an abandoned parking lot right after a good snowfall, but I do wish that other people would do the same so that they finally realise that an Accord with studded tires does better than their prescious SUV with its "All Season" tires. (Off topic, but "all season" tires are such a joke.)
