Do any of you dip snuff?

I tried it a few times because my once good friend was doing it.

I tried Straight Skoal, Berry Blend, Cherry, and some kind of mint flavor. It wasn't bad, but a very nasty habit that I didn't want to get hooked on, so I didn't continue with it. I'm trying to quit smoking right now.

Stupid tobacco and stupid me :disgust:

Berry Blend. Mmm, that schitt tastes like liquid skittles. I know alot of people who dip, since they feel its better than smokes. especially a lot of athletes.

Berry Blend was my favorite. The pouches were kinda nice because the sh!t didn't get stuck in your teeth.

hmmm, I've never been descriminated against for dipping. And, yes, I agree that it's a nasty habit but I've been doing it so long that it doesn't bother me anymore. Heck, I think I've been dipping longer than most of this group has been alive.

I believe there are different kinds of "chewing tobacco" that people might be getting confused:

1.Snuff/Dip - the little cans of finely ground tobacco that you normally put in your lower lip.
2.Leaf Tobacco - the pouches of leaves (somewhat moist) that you put in your cheek usually
3.Plug Tobacco - I've also seen them come in pouches and seem to be ground/leaf tobacco held together by some sort of resin? that you take a big bite off of and then put it in your cheek.

Bruton snuff is a very dry powder that can be sniffed or dipped (put in the lip). Copenhagen Snuff is the original ass kicker. It goes in the lip only and now they have longcut and pouches that suck big time.

I have dipped several brands over several, several years, got hooked on Copenhagen 10 or so years ago. I have tried to quit and just can't. I don't even like the taste of it anymore. This stuff is the DEVIL!!!!!!

Nope. Just recently kicked my tobacco vice...smoking.

I will have a smoke or 2 every once in a while when I'm drinking beer but that's it.

ha....yes it is. I'm not condoning it. If I had it to do over again, I never would have started in the first place. It is very addictive and very hard to quit, some say worst than cigarrettes.

It is worse than cigarettes. I smoked before I chewed and that was a breeze to quit compared to this.

Yep been chewing since I was 20, I stopped smoking with no problems but have been trying to quit chewing for a couple of years now, hard as hell since it puts it directly into your blood stream, I quit 1 time for a year but had a severe tragic accident happen and ended up chewing again, I have tried the patch, gum, fake chewing stuff and a couple of other things but to no succes, almost tempted to try thos losingers and see if those work

Oh and you wanted to know what I do chew Skoal Fine Cut anything else makes me sick as hell.
