Um...while I agree that animals have orgasms, that's not why they have sex, excepting dolphins, which has been mentioned. Animals have sex because of instinct and the need to reporduce; they don't have it because they enjoy it.

And they know this and care?

actually its not just dolphins, certain chimps also have sex for pleasure. they are the less violent ones.
