do all wives do this?

Was in Florida last week, vacation. Got a little red on my shoulders on the first day, nothing too bad. By the end of the week I started peeling a little bit.

I had to fight off the wife constantly, as she was obsessed with peeling the skin off.

What's with that

She doesn't want large flakes of dead skin on all over the place, particularly in bed. Either that, or she likes her man well groomed.

As long as she doesn't eat it, like Goldmember.

put a bandage over it.

Mine doesn't pick it off. She gets annoyed that I wasn't careful enough with my sunblock applications.

You do realize you are breathing in tiny flakes of skin from all sorts of random people every day you spend any time indoors?

Yes, and there's a good bet that the last breath you took contained some air molecules expelled from Julius Caesar's dying breath -- in fact, probably more than a thousand...

I always peel a few days after a holiday in the sun.

Anyway she probably wants to take it off because it's a natural instinct (like scratching away old scabs) and because those flakes are big and noticeable and will get all over the carpets and furniture if you don't brush it off energically when it starts to come.

My fiance is nuts about anything like that. She will immediately rip off any on her lips if they become too chap. I think there is something about women with impatience - unable to let the body heal over time and too concerned with current looks in public. Go figure :awe:

I don't have a wife but I do the same to myself if I get burnt. I also pick at scabs and sometimes scratch bug bites so much they get all red. 😕

Payback.

One she knows it does not look good - she wants you presentable
Two, if it causes you some pain; added benefit for her.

LOL, my wife does that with pimples. If she sees pimples on any of us, she has the urge to squeeze them 😀

they do it with pimples too

I was dating this chick and I didn't realize I had a white head when I went to pick her up. The first thing she says is "OOOH LET ME POP IT!!" and starts heading towards me with her hands ready to pop. I was a bit scared.

Chicks are just strange creatures

mine picks and bites her cuticles constantly. Even on her toes (no biting on the toes, though). I can't stand it.

And I can confirm Rudeguy's statement on pimples.
