Umm, you really don't want to try to use the PS2 internet play stuff on dialup. Bad speeds and all that.

This Epinions thing says that you can't connect to Sony game servers if you use DUN.

I didn't know you could connect PS2 to the internet (my kids play more then I :)

Guess I got to purchase an interface module to connect to a router ?

Are the gaming sites free - or pay as you play ?

Hi All,

Well I guess I pretty much answered my own question; I just signed up for my third DUN 56k internet service provider (one at a time of course) and they have all worked... So I guess they do.

My son plays tribes with his PS2 at 56k and it works great... I can't get him off the thing... I think maybe it's the newer games that need a higher connection speed.

dxpaap,

Sony sells a Network adapter for PS2... You just plug it in the back and it works just like a modem.
