Do all cats & dogs have white skin?

To the best of my knowledge all my cats and dogs had paper white skin. Do all furry animals?

I don't know about cats, but not all dogs have white skin. Dogs can have varying degrees of pigment. Our Jack Russel mix has a few large patches of black skin and no hair grows on it. Been that way since she was a puppy.

Cats can have dark skin. I have one cat with both pink and black pawpads. It's cute. :)

Cats vary in their skin coloration. I've got a black cat that has a sort of dark grey skin, while my orange psycho-kitten has very pale skin.

LOL!

When my cat got spayed and I took her home she scared me because she layed on her side and there was this huge bright white block on her belly where they shaved her. Poor kitty.

Zebras' skin color matches their hair pattern

Just thought I would throw that in there, hehehehe.

So, are zebras white w/black stripes or black w/white stripes?

My neighbor has a Lynx that has black stripes all over it's skin (just below the black stripes on it's coat) and white/tan/and brown skin beneath the lighter colorations on it's coat. They had to shave the "cat's" back once because it got a nail stuck in it's side (it recovered completely).
