My little sister (16 years old) just redecorated her room . Painted it purple, and a bunch of other girly things. Do you think this would be a cool gift for her this Chanuka :

For that kinda of price! It's kinda steep for Chanuka present.....

I got a giant lava lamp last year... It's cool and all....but the novelty(sp) wore off after awhile.

You can get bubble lights for like $20-$30 at your local Target/DAPY/Spencer or other novelty type store. I have one that is sort of a pyramid shape and the light changes color periodically. Be forewarned that the pump on it is somewhat loud.

For the price of the Sharper Image one, I'd expect a pump that is absolutely whisper-quiet.
