Getting a fluction between 150 KB/s and 200 KB/s on NFSMW and no-one else is stealing my bandwidth here.

A nugget of information...

I couldnt install NFS MW from you dnugget. It said I needed to update Direct X and when I tried to via the Direct X program in the demo .exe, It said the cab file couldnt be trusted and wouldnt install.

I downloaded it from Yahoo (linked in the large NFS MW Demo Thread), hit an average of 470 KB/s and it worked fine.

Might be just my PC being picky but just throwing in my experience if its of any use.

I haven't tried the NFSMW dl myself, but it came from Fileplanet...

Just installed it without any probs.

COD2 demo is SP FWIW (I don't do MP, so knowing that stuff is important for me).

Looks to me like the gfx are "stripped down" for file size? Couldn't even find selections for "High" etc. Some just offer no more than "low" or "medium" etc?
