Grrrreetings fellow Anand techno junkies! I am facing a dilema today and needs some help from the pros to get me back on track. I have a webserver set up right now and I also have a domain name purchased through yahoo domains that currently forwards the domain name to my IP address. Now here are my questions:

First.... Will setting up a DNS server here at home allow me to get rid of this annoying forwarding function, so when the user types in my website.... www.pentiumpro.org it will show that instead of my current IP address? (And also enable them to type in subdirectories of pentiumpro.org/whatever)

Second. I have all my server equipment in a small floor standing Rack stand a mere 12U high with only 1U of space left. Now... the file server is running Win2K Pro. Is there a free DNS utility for windows I could use to accomplish my task and use this machine as a hybrid file/DNS server? (It is fairly powerful, Athlon2600+/1GB DDR) or would I be better off breaking down and purchasing a 1U chassis for a dedicated Linux DNS box.

And Third... How come you are all so damn sexy!?

Thank you in advance......
