Every so often, DNS stops working. I'm using a linksys router/access point, connected to Verizon DSL. I can't figure out what makes it work or stop working. Any ideas? The clients are a Win98 laptop (connected wirelessly), and an XP box on one of the 4 ethernet ports.

what are you using for your dns server. can you ping the server, and its just not answering your queries?

All the clients use the router (192.168.1.1) as the DNS server, the router uses Verizon's DNS server. I can ping the Verizon servers, and use the "host" program from a linux box at my university to do DNS lookups using the Verizon DNS servers.
