Hey everyone,

I don't usually post here, but for those DNS guru's out there, what good books do you use to figure out DNS issues?

Thanks in advance,

The O'Reilly DNS book is great. The O'Reilly TCP/IP Administrator book is pretty good too. It's not quite as in-dpeth, but it covers the necessities well on a number of topics (sendmail, DNS, etc).

Good Luck

Definitely O'Reilly's "DNS and BIND" written by Paul Albitz and Cricket Liu. The latest edition (4th) covers BIND 9.

yup, O'Reilly DNS & BIND... thats the one on my bookshelf also. I looked at a bunch of them and this one was the best.

Good luck

Another vote for "DNS & BIND" by O'reilly.

I read the the first few chapters to learn more about how DNS works in relation to my web-hosting tech-support job and it helped a huge deal!

Hey, word of advice. If you have a 75% OFF Books' bookstore chain in your are i would definitely recommend checking it out first. I got the O'Reilly book from them for $4.95 brand new.

All their books are guaranteed to be below $5.
