DNS error while trying to set up my PS3

My Wii, DSLite, and PS3 works fine too. Linksys router w/ DD-WRT firmware using WEP encryption.

Have you tried manual network setup? Maybe this thread should go to the networking forum.

Yes, I even went to my 360 and wrote down the network settings it is using besides the ip address and manually entered them on the PS3

Are you getting an IP address?

The most common problem with wireless not communicating is a mismatch in security settings, with the common one being the key isn't right. Make sure the encryption of the router/access point match the client (ps3) EXACTLY.
For example - WPA-PSK/TKIP, WPA2-PSK/AES, etc. If you're still having trouble remove the security of the router and see if it works without encryption.

If you ARE getting an IP address then all security/encryption is good and we need to move up the OSI model.

I don't have encryption set on my router, and when I try to do auto setup it doesn't get an ip address. When I manually give it one is works, but fails on checking the internet and gives me the DNS error
