Anyone know of any free tools that work do the same thing as ExtraDns?

It works quite nice but my 30 day trial has ended and I'm now looking for something free that will do the same thing.

Thanks

BIND can be set up as a cache-only nameserver. There is a Windows port of it, too.

The only problem I see with FASTNET99 is that it doens't have an expiration time for the HOSTS entries. A much better way to cache DNS entries is to have a TTL on each entry so it periodically gets checked for validity.

It has a scheduler which can check the urls whenever you want. Do it daily probably be best.
