Link here. Despite what may be lagging technology, I'll still buy it.

As would I. If it ever comes out, I would get it.. Duke Nukem 3D was too much fun!

Hmm...I guess they're almost "done". Took them forever tho. I wonder what 3D engine they're using. I think it was the Quake 3 engine back in the day.

Who knows but it sounds like they had Howard Hues in charge of production. Thus I am sure they will take note of Unreal 3 engine and revamp using it with a release date of 2009.

Unreal 2 or 2.5, they have heavily modified it though.

Sweet

I still use the Duke Nukem 3D mouse pad on my home computer. I think it's like 10 years old...

This is false. DNF will not be released this December, guaranteed. If you've heard anything recent about the game, there's no way they're going to finish in less than two months. Looks like an Amazon pre-order grab to me (not to mention a cheap visitor grab from The Inquirer).

Nope, now they're saying they're using the Doom 3 engine. Next it will be the Unreal 3 engine.

Don't they have to pay someone every time they switch engines like that?

3D Realms forums staff says it's not true. They claim that you would hear it from them first, before you heard if from Amazon. I thought it was supposed to be released around 2001 but they delayed it because of 9-11. Maybe I'm wrong. It's title suits it though. Duke Nukem Forever, as in it takes forever to be released.
