OM has the DLink DMP90 on the clearance table for $55.

They also have them on display for $119 - $20 instant savings - $30 MIR = $69.

When I was in there, a guy was talking to the manager to get the $20 instant savings on the clearance boxes since it was an advertised discount.

He got the $20 instant savings and the rebate so I did the same. $5!

Even if you don't get the $20 instant savings, it's only $25.

only thing that would be a little funny (and more than a little pathetic) that i've seen lots of on the forum is people thinking there's something wrong with being a junior member or asking questions. no such thing as a dumb question, just dumb&arrogant people.

Have one - you cannot put more than another 32 meg Smartmedia in addition to the onboard 16 megs.

Max TOTAL megs is 48. At about 4 megs a song.. OEM as is if 4 songs.. and 12 for expanded.

The 32 additional memory should cost around $35 if you can find it with rebates.. it was mentioned in one of the topics.. anyone have a quick pointer?
 
Does anyone have a link to the MIR? The guy I talked to at the store here didn't know of any MIR or even the $20 instant savings.

I did see that mp3 player on the clearance table for $55.I didn't see the $20 instant savings in the weekly add... or see any sort of rebate for the player. can anyone post a link to the mail-in-rebate..
 
Just got back and the manager couldn't validate a $20 instant savings, $55 was the bottom price he could do, I argued, but to no avail as I had no artillery to hit him with.
 
This is the player I bought for $29.95 @ Bestbuy about si weeks ago with a $60 mail in rebate! All three I bought are making great doorstops... I imagine... or maybe paperweights! Heeheh..

I bought three.. cut the upcs and sold them for $20 each!!

29.95 + tax (7.25%) 2.17 = 32.121 x3 = 96.36 + (.33 x 3)= 97.35 - 20 -20 -20= $37.35 total cost for three of these awful players!!!

Thats Before I get THREE $60 Rebates!!!!!! 60x3 = $180!!! I made like 150! it will pay for my DVD player and some movies!!!
 
what is this player that you bought at best buy? I was there today but there were no rebates!

I hit a local office max for this and they had it on the clearance table for $55 with about 20 of them left but no record of it having a mir or instant savings.

I dont know anything about this deal/rebate, but I just wanted to say, that I got in on the deal on the DMP-100 MP3 player a few months back. Picked it up for $50 (after PM) and sent in for a $30 rebate. Have yet to receive it... 😛 *mental note: check on that* Just a headsup if youre counting on the MIR. YMMV.
