If you interested in a DLP projector... These guys get em @ half price. The warranty issue is kind of shady. But, it's no worse then if you bought it off e-bay or some place else on the net.

These to me I've looked else where are about half of retail and a good deal cheaper then other places... I picked up the Yamaha DPX-1 it got very high reviews... It was a toss up between this and the Sharp.

This one came with free shipping so makes it a bit more of a better deal. Tho, if you wanted to spend another 800 bucks I probably would have gone with the sharp.

Good Luck...

No, I'm not associated with this link. I would consider this a WARM deal for anyone looking at projectors.

Don't forget to add a Z to that NEC LT150. The NEC LT150 and the NEC LT150Z are two different models. The LT150 was selling at buy.com this Christmas for $2286 shipped, and the LT150Z sells for $3,215.95. I bought a NEC LT150 and I am very happy with it. However, I'm a bit of a poor boy when it comes to home theater. I can't afford anything better.

Don't forget about the replacement bulbs for these things. I teach at a college and just got a Hitachi 960 ($4400) installed in my room. The fellow who installed it said the bulbs are about $500 each and don't last very long (600-6000 hours).
