Dlink DI-604 not compatible with Vista?

So I pulled out my old router again so I can extend internet to my father's computer but I cant find Vista drivers anywhere! I used this router a long time ago with XP but haven't needed it again till now... Does anyone know if Vista drivers are available for this thing?

Drivers?

Routers do Not have Drivers, they are independent Network Devices.

They do need to be configured, and it can be done through the Internet Browser.

Routers Do have extend manuals that explain how to do so.

The Router's support page would have this Manual.

I have a very strange problem... Following the guide to set up the router simply does not work, and I cannot access the routers web page through the default address.

I tried doing ipconfig /all and looking up default gateway, but the ip shows up in hex!!

This is not the 1st time I am configuring a router, but definitely the first time I see something like that.

The "Hex" that are you seeing is likely an IPv6 network address. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPv6)

Try resetting the router to defaults, then set it all the way back up again.

Sounds like vista's DHCP bug and their asinine use of the broadcast flag.
