Dlink and USR compatability

I was wondering if anyone has used or knew if the USR and Dlink TI ACX100 based wireless adaptors were compatible with one another. These are capable of 22mbps but are also backward compatible with the regular 11mbps 802.11b standard. I am pretty much assuming that 11mbps will be fine but I am wondering if they will work at 22mbps with one another. I currently using the dlink 614+ router as a wireless access point and have the dlink dwl 650+ cardbus in my notebook. I am thinking of getting the USR2216 pci when I expand my network, if it can communicate with the 614+ at full speed.

Thanks for anyone with info regarding this.

There is no official support from Dlink for this, since the 22mbps is a proprietary technology for both companies. It is probably a crap shoot. I will tell you this though, if you find that you have trouble connecting to the DI-614+ with non-Dlink wireless devices you should make sure that you disable 4x mode on the DI-614+. That has solved the problem 100% of the time for me on countless DI-614+ wireless setups.
