Amazon.com has the D-Link DI-711 Broadband 802.11B Wireless Router
for $69.88 - $20 rebate = $49.88

Linkity Link

US Robotics Wirless Network card

$69.97 - $30 rebate = $39.97

Linkity Link

There's also a $5 off coupon floating around. And the above items are over $99 so you get free shipping.

Rebate on the NIC is good for the PCI version (which includes PCMCIA card) or the solo PCMCIA version. Rebate is good anywhere (I just saw it at Outpost.com but you beat me to the post, Seizure!)

Wow - I can't believe this deal for an 802.11b access point/router!
Cheapest I've seen by far. Best excuse yet to take down those ethernet cables hanging from the ceiling...

I suspect it's OOS for me too, but it doesn't say so on the screen anywhere. I don't see a BUY button anywhere either. Is that how Amazon indicates OOS?

If it is still available, this is a great deal!

Nice deal... but the router is a repost (the other thread is about 50 posts long as of right now).

The NIC is a better deal because it includes the PCI adapter (I think) which has generally been an additional $30+ purchase plus the price of the card.

these are very good deals, but they are OOS right now.

once they come back, use a $5 off $35 coupon to save more.

I was looking at the pic and the NIC is only a PCI Adapter right? Like it doesnt have a RJ-45 port to plug in network cable right?

Also, does anyone know if I can use this PCI Adapter with the new 802.11a equipment by Linksys. I know it's really expensive, but I was thinking about it since it would have a lot less interference and faster transmission. For people that dunno what I'm referring to...these are it.

Those of us that had it on our Amazon "Wish List" now see that it has changed from "out of stock" to
"Amazon does not stock this item". I guess that means they won't have any more by 6/30, the date the Rebate expires. I guess we should have made up our minds sooner.

Dlink 802.11b isn't that the name of a really bad, overplayed alterna rock band with a bunch of naked highschool boys in it?
