The secondary antenna has been moved inside the router....it's a 1/4-wave antenna attached to the left side of the router. And I'm sure you'll be glad to hear the "one antenna version" has a network processor that's more than 5x as fast than the one in the "two antenna version."

The D-Link one is 802.11b+. I get 11mbps when using it with an 802.11b+ card. With my Netgear MR814, I only manage 4mbps.

I have this in my wishlist and they just lowered the price yesterday, was around $76 before rebates. I had to use my $30 Amazon credit card promo GC so this is a great deal for me.

The only caveat is that I don't know if they have the old version, 2 antenna or 1. Just because their stock photo has 2 antenna doesn't mean that's what you will get.

how's this router? does it have the built in firewall like linksys? has anyone found the linksys 802.11b router for less than 69.99 AR?

Was there any sign on the box on whether you were going to get the one or two antenna model?

oh, cool beans with the antenna. I did read about the processor. The box I have has a single antenna on the pictures - so I imagine that the other model had two antennas on the front of the box.

Seems to have excellent built in firewall stuff, though I haven't really thoroughly played with it yet - too many options. Has stateful packet inspection (dass good!)

I found out from FW that if you hold off till tomorrow, OD has the D-Link 614+ enhanced router for $10 AR AC, and laptop and desktop enhanced D-Link 802.11b+ cards are $15 AR AC.

<--gonna get one of each, hopefully. BTW don't forget fatcash to get ~2% back from before coupon cost.

can u post a link? I searched FW and all I got was eCost refurbs for $10 AR, or is that what you're talking about?
