Just got the album.......I like it.

Probably only one ho-hum song in the entire 12 playlist.

Great vocals in Julie Thompson, Charlotte Martin and Christian Burns.

I'll check it out...
Tiesto has been offering sub-par material as of late. Armin, Gabriel&Dresden have been doing a good job.

I went to the pre-release listening party here in DC and got the CD for free prior to release. It's not his best, certainly not the last ISOS album but much better than "Just Be" I think.

Certainly was worth getting it for free :p

vandyk and armin kica$$. i like songs with more vocals in it like beautiful things and love comes again. both from one of his albums. any more suggestions?

The listening party was sponsored by Club Glow but held at some swanky lounge/restaurant on K Street. I forget the name of the place. The sound system sucked.

But I would say that Club Glow, Club Five, and 930 Club are the most popular for this genre.

I?m well into my trance music (or house/dance music, however you guys refer to it).

Judge Jules - Legend!

I still haven?t been to any of the events here in the UK. :(

Is this scene quite big in the US?

Not really. I would say its still on the fringe.

Shame. If it were I bet you guys would have some mental events over there.

They are few and far between, but Toronto and Montreal get some good events and since it's not as regular...it's huge :)

are you kidding me, its huge. thtere are some hard core dedicated fans. Be prepared to be searched b4 going t a rave though. if they suspect you are on E, or are drunk, they will search you. besides that, all is gr8!! check the web sites of major Dj's like tiesto or paulvandyk or others for their schedule and plan accordingly.

The [electronic music] scene is alive & well everywhere, it's a matter of finding it.

Edmonton is a good example of this, as while we don't gets big name DJs all the time, there's a lot of underground stuff/private parties, etc.
Basically, if you have the right friends, or frequent the right clubs, or watch the right forums, you can find stuff going on pretty much all weekend every week, often having choices of two or three good shows/local DJs etc.

That being said, Tiesto is coming here in August, & i just missed the first batch of early ticket sales by a couple hours since i forgot :(
