DJ Hero ?

Just saw a commercial for it, what do you guys think? I'm torn between thinking it's absurdly stupid, and thinking that it might be a good bit of fun.. perhaps both?

Which is pretty much what I thought of the Guitar Hero series.

I'm going to disagree with you even though you seem fairly offended by it. I have no desire to discuss the actual game. Just because something is about a game, doesn't make it necessarily a console/PC gaming thread. What about that thread about idiot attracting cars? Should we move it to The Garage? Or ANY post with a news article in it.. take them to P&N? I merely wanted to quip, off the major topic, about how inane the idea of DJ Hero is. So basically, you can DIAF.

It's easy to forget we have a Console Gaming forum? Especially since it was (relatively) recently created, and not very frequented or talked about in the social forums.

Even if it was a dumb move posting it here, insulting people doesn't actually accomplish anything positive. Just say "wrong forum", point the person in the right direction, and move on.

OP, i actually watched the video review on gametrailers.com today, and it looks pretty fun. didnt know there were two different versions of the turntable (i think thats what they are called).

Try it out in the store if you can find one... it's actually pretty fun. Don't know if it would stick but it was fun for the few minutes I played around with it.
