dj avicii (tim bergling) dead at 28

Just saw this as well. I got into the EDM scene because of his poppyness although have shied away from his style as of late. Crazy and sad that he's died at such a young age, but I suspect stardom and the "scene" is what took him.

Sounds like he had stopped doing live shows a couple years ago because of health reasons (pancreatitis is mentioned)
 
Sad news, never really listened to his music but he apparently touched a lot of people. 28 is too young. I'd assume drugs too, but never know.

I'm sure it's like notable public figures in the news - they already have pre-written obituaries for them to use as templates in the event of an untimely passing.

My bro in law just texted me about this. Very sad to hear. Some of his songs are some of my favorites. I absolutely LOVE Levels, that song gives me goose bumps every time I hear it. And then his newer songs Hey Brother and Don't Wake Me Up are fantastic too. Can't believe how young he was...
 
Hey Brother is a great song. A lot of famous people are dropping like rocks again just like last year, and well, the year before. If you ask me, I think Robin Williams started this.
 
I guess he got tired of making standard crap music.
I like house music, but most of his music i do not like, i find it repulsive.
With one exception. (There is always an exception ^_^ ) :

I can stands this, but it is more because of Aloe BLacc than the music from avicii.
